Mobile control for developer work

Vibe Remote

Control your dev laptop from your phone.

Run and resume Codex or Claude Code, review files and Git, reach SSH hosts, and take over the Mac screen when a structured workflow is not enough.

One live session, running on your laptop
and controlled from your phone.
Vibe Remote connects a phone to a developer laptop, sends a Codex task to the Mac, and returns live progress and test results.

One connection, four focused surfaces

Use the lightest interface that gets the job done.

Start with the agent. Move into the workspace for files or Git, connect to an SSH host for remote projects, and open the Mac screen only when the task truly needs a desktop.

Structured agent control

Stay inside the coding conversation.

Follow plans, commands, tool results, diffs, MCP activity, approvals, and questions without squeezing a desktop terminal onto a phone.

Codex and Claude Code sessions remain readable and actionable on a small screen.
Why Vibe Remote

Leave the desk. Keep work moving.

Your agent keeps running on your Mac. Vibe Remote alerts your phone only when a decision needs you.

WITHOUT VIBE REMOTE

Stay near your laptop.

If the agent needs approval or hits a question, the only way to know is to be there and keep checking.

The work can run unattended. You cannot.
WITH VIBE REMOTE

Walk away. We’ll notify you.

The agent continues on your Mac. When it needs input, respond from your phone.

Away from the desk

Check the work, not the laptop.

Use a focused mobile action for the common case, and keep full screen control available for the uncommon one.

A serious trust model

Your Mac remains the place where the work happens.

Read the security model

Code stays on the Mac

Repositories, credentials, agents, and terminal processes do not move into Vibe Remote’s cloud.

Device-to-device encryption

Hosted agent, file, Git, terminal, and control traffic is end-to-end encrypted.

Revocable phone access

Pair with a short-lived code, keep keys bound to the device, and revoke a phone independently.

Direct screen path

Screen control uses encrypted WebRTC directly when possible and TURN only as fallback.

GitHub sign-in identifies the account. Vibe Remote does not request access to your repositories.
Before you connect

The practical details.

Does my code run in the cloud?

No. Your code, terminal processes, files, credentials, and coding agents stay on your Mac. Vibe Remote connects your authenticated phone to that machine.

Do I need a native phone app?

No. Vibe Remote is an installable mobile web app. Scan the pairing QR, open it in your browser, and add it to your Home Screen for an app-like experience and push notifications.

Can I use sessions that started outside Vibe Remote?

Supported Codex and Claude Code sessions running elsewhere can appear in view-only mode. Stop the session in the other app, then resume it through Vibe Remote when you want interactive control.

What happens if my phone disconnects?

The agent or terminal process continues on your Mac. When the phone reconnects, Vibe Remote restores the session and its recent activity.

Can the hosted relay read my terminal or files?

Terminal, file, Git, agent, and control messages are end-to-end encrypted between your paired phone and Mac. Screen video uses encrypted WebRTC.
