These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Vibe Remote’s website, Mac software, hosted relay, and mobile web application (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and paired devices.
Authorized use
You may use Vibe Remote only with computers, accounts, files, and networks that you own or are explicitly authorized to access. You must comply with applicable laws and the terms of third-party services used through Vibe Remote.
Prohibited conduct
You may not use the Service to access another person’s device without authorization, distribute malware, evade security controls, disrupt the Service, probe other users’ accounts, abuse infrastructure, or facilitate unlawful activity.
Security responsibilities
A paired phone can control terminal sessions and, when enabled, your desktop. You are responsible for protecting your phone, GitHub account, Mac account, and pairing codes. Revoke devices you no longer control and notify us promptly of suspected account compromise.
Software and updates
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Vibe Remote software with the Service. We may provide updates for security, compatibility, and functionality. Third-party and open-source components remain governed by their respective licenses.
Third-party services
Vibe Remote can interact with GitHub, Claude Code, Codex, browsers, terminal programs, and other third-party products. We do not control those products and are not responsible for their availability, output, policies, or changes.
Availability and changes
We aim to provide a stable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features to address security, legal, operational, or product requirements.
Your content
You retain ownership of your source code, terminal content, and files. You grant us only the limited rights necessary to operate the Service, including routing encrypted data and processing the account and device metadata described in our Privacy Policy.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to prevent harm, address prohibited use, comply with law, or protect the Service and its users.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You remain responsible for reviewing commands, approvals, code changes, and backups.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vibe Remote will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities arising from use of the Service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version here with a new effective date and provide additional notice when changes are material.
