Can I start a new Codex session from my phone?

Yes. Set up and pair your Mac first. You can then start new Codex sessions and resume managed sessions from your phone. Codex must be installed and signed in on the Mac.

Which Mac and phone do I need?

Use macOS 13 Ventura or newer on an Apple silicon or Intel Mac. Pair an iPhone or Android phone and open the Vibe Remote mobile web app.

Does my Mac need to stay awake?

Yes. Keep it powered, awake, and online. Your Mac runs Codex and performs the file and terminal actions.

Where does my code go?

Vibe Remote runs work on your Mac and encrypts phone-to-Mac work content end to end. Your AI provider may separately receive prompts and code under its policy and your settings.
